Power Alternative: Affordable Solar Panels Coming Soon

The management of NASENI Solar Energy Limited (NSEL) on Friday said it would intensify efforts to ensure that the cost of quality solar panel in the country became cheap.

Mr Jafaru Mahmud, the acting Managing Director, NSEL, according to NAN, made this known when he visited its in Abuja.

According to him, the NASENI Solar Energy Ltd aims at reducing the cost of quality solar panels in the country by producing panels that are 100 per cent made in Nigeria.

He said “we need to be more involved in energy mining as we are still importing 67 per cent of what we use which makes the product expensive.

“The government wants the whole Nigeria to go on solar and has made some arrangements for cell which the 2016 budget has already captured.”
