B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G! 9 Feared Dead, Many Injured As Suicide Bomber Attacked Maiduguri

At least 9 people have been reportedly killed today by a suicide bomber in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, according to a local resident and Emergency Management Agency official.‎ The suicide attack occurred near the Muna garage area of Maiduguri. Baba Kura.

''We heard loud explosions in our area and we quickly went to the scene and we found nine people dead and a vehicle seriously damaged,'' a source told SaharaReporters.

According to a State Emergency Management Agency official who spoke with SaharaReporters, he said that 6 people were recovered from the scene along Dikwa road.

Borno state has been a major center of attack for Boko Haram militants.
