Nigerian troops
The Nigerian Army said on Tuesday that its troops have retaken the economic and strategic town of Gamboru Ngala, Borno State, from the Boko Haram terrorists group.

Colonel Sani Usman, spokesperson for the Nigerian Army who announced this in a terse, two paragraphs statement on Tuesday afternoon did not give further information on how the town was recaptured.

He however added that the troops are now busy with clearing and mopping up patrols.
