Lime and lemon juice are both made from citrus fruits. They both contain high levels of vitamin C or ascorbic acid, which is very important in one’s body. Because of their tangy flavor, they are generally garnished in some dishes.

Lime is somewhat less commonly used outside of food and drink, but it can be found in some perfumes and aromatherapies. Lemon-scented cleaning products are common, however, as are slices of dried lemon in air fresheners.

Place the washed lemon in the freezer. Once frozen, get your grater, and shred the whole lemon (no need to peel it) and sprinkle it on top of your foods!
