More debris have been found on the shore of the French Island of Reunion, that may finally help solve the jigsaw of the missing Malaysian Plane MH370.

The Boeing 777 with 239 people on board, most of them Chinese, vanished without a trace in March 2014.

Among the debris found today were a suitcase and a piece of metal wreckage thought to be a plane door. Also found was a piece of metal with Malaysian and Chinese inscriptions.

The wreckage washed up on the same island where beach cleaners found a piece of wing thought to belong to Malaysia Airline’s MH370.

Meanwhile Malaysia said on Sunday confirmed that aeroplane debris that washed up on the Indian Ocean island of Reunion has been identified as being from a Boeing 777, the same model as Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 which vanished early last year.

“We know the flaperon has been officially identified as being part of a Boeing 777 aircraft,” Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai said in a statement.
“This has been verified by French authorities together with aircraft manufacturer Boeing, U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Malaysian team comprising the Department of Civil Aviation, Malaysia Airlines, and Malaysian ICAO Annex 13 Safety Investigation Team for MH370.”
