Benue Lawmakers took to fight, exchanging blows

Lawmakers belonging to the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party were locked in a brawl at the Benue State House of Assembly, north-central Nigeria, on Tuesday following a letter addressed to the Speaker by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to appoint majority leader for the Assembly.

The APC and PDP were split 15-17 in the House.
