Following the attack on Mubi by the Boko Haram sect, a shocking revelation shows that over 150 Benue State indigenes schooling in Adamawa state University, Mubi have been declared missing

According to an eReporter Source, out of about 200 students reported missing, only 17 were rescued and evacuated to Makurdi, on Friday night.

The escaped students currently lodged at the State Government House attribute their being alive to divine intervention.

One of the students, called Terna, a 200 level Business Admin. student, told newsmen that they spend two nights in the bush while trying to find their way to the closest area to Mubi.

He said: “Only God knows how many kilometers we walked through the bush and mountains in two days.

“We had to leave some of our school mates in Katsina Ala Local Government Area for treatment while some of us were brought in here.”

Terna, who thanked the state government for the prompt response urged it to rescue other missing students.

He said, “Frankly speaking, we are over 200 from Benue State in that university and as you can see, we are just 17 here with few other weak ones in the hospital receiving treatment and I appeal that a search party be urgently instituted to know the whereabouts of the others.”
