Amaju Pinnick , The newly elected NFF chairman
A fresh crisis is brewing in Nigeria football circles as a Jos High Court on Thursday annulled the September 30 elections held in Warri that brought in Amaju Pinnick and new executives into the football federation.

The Court ruled that Chris Giwa, who emerged President in a highly disputed election process in Abuja, on August 26, should instead return to the seat of power in the Glass House.

The latest decision may plunge Nigeria into fresh crisis even as world football governing body FIFA had warned that Nigeria will be suspended in the event that that any party tampers with the democratically elected board.

Unless a quick move is made, the Super Falcons billed to star in the finals of the Africa Women Championships might be the first to be hit as a suspension of Nigeria might see them not playing this weekend’s finals.
