According to a report, fraudsters have faked the normal slogan of Pastor E. A. Adeboye. “Let somebody shout Hallelujah”! This is one of the unique expressions of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E A Adeboye. When added to his baritone and measured expressions, you have an Adeboye persona.

However, certain individuals have been making use of the above to dupe unsuspecting members of the public. The church recently came out with a disclaimer, dissociating itself from certain scam artistes who claimed to be Adeboye or who have access to him. They would offer prayer in a measured baritone on phone after which they would ask victims to pay offering to some bank accounts.

Therefore, care must be taken by the public so that they will not fall victims of scam.
