The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom says the Holy Bible but this time around, it is the fear of President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) that is the beginning of wisdom for some Nigeria's politicians especially for the corrupt ones. I recall a statement by a bigwig politician that says "I will go to exile if Buhari emerges as the next president". What amazed me is that it was only one person that announced the exile thing to the public without knowing that many have conceived the idea of 'exile' as the best option and alternative way of salvation. Read below the steps taken by some sets of Nigerian politician. Anyway, if taking to their heel will make Nigeria better, let me say 'happy exile', only that it will prevent them from being responsible for all their actions and atrocities against humanity.

SaharaReporters also learnt that more party officials and President Goodluck Jonathan’s aides, ministers and several appointees have either fled or planning to flee the country afraid that incoming President Muhammad Buhari will probe the administration of Mr. Jonathan and jail those found guilty of corruption. Last week, the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-madueke traveled on the same flight with Buhari to London, while on the six hour trip she made several attempt to start a conversation with Mr. Buhari, but the 72-old winner of Nigeria's presidential election known for his no-nonsense stance on corruption rebuffed all her entreaties. It is not known if she ever returned to Nigeria.
