Nigerian Troop Captured Top Boko Haram Member Disguised As A Woman (PHOTOS)

Operation 'Anti-terrorist search and attack' conducted by Nigerian Military has started yielding positive result according to a press release.

Recently, President Jonathan promised that Shekau - Boko Haram Leader will be captured alive while the group itself will become a thing of the past especially before the forthcoming election which was to take place on February 14th and 28th but later postponed by six weeks to March 28th and April 11th due to insecurity in some parts of the country. The Nigerian Military also agreed with Mr. President that the Boko Haram Leader will be captured alive and the group will be defeated soon while Shekau vowed that the election will not take place in Nigeria as stated in a recent video released by the group. 

Troops Capture Terrorists Disguised As Women In Baga

Since the commencement of the search for the Boko Haram, the troop has been recording one success to the other. The search has been yielding discoveries of weapons and armaments especially bombs hidden in various locations, especially Baga town by Boko Haram to launch their deadly and terror attack on the innocent populace.  Apart from those captured in the course of fighting, many arrests of terrorists hiding in the town are being made.

The Director of Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, who stated this in a statement on Monday, did not give the exact number of the terrorists arrested.

He said, “The cordon and search in Baga has revealed some terrorists disguising as women.

“The searches are also yielding more discoveries of arms especially bombs hidden in various locations, especially Baga town.

“Apart from those captured in the course of fighting, many terrorists hiding in the town are being arrested and troops are still busy interrogating the suspects.

“In furtherance of the mission to clear terrorists from all their enclaves by the military, the Nigerian Air Force has stepped up its air bombardments of identified targets in Gwoza, Bama and Sambisa forest, preparatory to other phases of the mission.

“The air strikes have been highly successful as they achieved the aims, hitting vital targets with required precision. Terrorists are now in disarray as they scamper to escape from the impact of air bombardment of their locations in the forest.”

Nigerian Air Force has also stepped up its air bombardment of identified targets in Gwoza, Bama and Sambisa forest, preparatory to other phases of the mission. The air strikes have been highly successful as they achieved the aims, hitting vital targets with required precision.
