Federal Government Declares Friday January 2nd, 2015 As Public Holiday

The federal government of Nigeria has officially declared January 2, 2015 as public holiday to mark Eid el Maulud.


The federal government enjoined all Muslims and Nigerians in
general to support, co-operate and join hands with President Goodluck Jonathan

“in his sustained effort to build a peaceful, united and virile nation , wishing Nigerians a happy Eid-el-maulud celebration, urged all Nigerians to use
the occasion to pray for peace across the nation.
