Breaking: [PHOTOS] Bomb Explosion Hits Bus Station In Gombe

Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have detonated a bomb at the Dukku motor park in Gombe state Metropolis today killing no fewer than 15 people, just three days to Christmas. At least 40 others are reported to have been injured in the deadly attack.
The explosion, which reportedly occurred around 11am, was targeted at passengers traveling through the popular motor park for the Christmas holidays.

A journalist based in the state, Mallam Tildee, told PREMIUM TIMES that the blast occurred at Dukku Motor Park early Monday.

Mr. Tildee said he was on his way to the scene of the blast and would be able to give casualty figure later.

The spokesperson of the police in the state, Fwaje Atajiri, could not be reached for comments.

It could be re-called that in November 2014, a similar blast had occurred at the Gombe line motor park, killing scores of commuters, drivers and traders.
