Yobe State government yesterday said all public and private schools will resume Monday, three weeks after their closure following an attack on Government Science Secondary School, Potiskum by members of Boko Haram sect.

Speaking to Daily Trust on phone yesterday, the state Commissioner for Education, Alhaji Muhammad Lamin, said that all schools are resuming on that date because government has put more security measures in place that would safeguard students, teachers and the school environments.

Lamin said government has fenced most of the schools in the state and those that are still exposed will be fenced in due course as the exercise is ongoing.
